About the Project
The development sits on a half acre in Runda, a luxury estate at the border of Nairobi and Kiambu County. The client requested a modern design with high ceilings, double volume spaces, spacious rooms and a mix of stone and plaster cladding. The design incorporated spillout spaces that connected to the outdoors with large balconies in every room as well as terraces in the common spaces. The rooftop garden created an intimate space for private entertainment, fully equipped with a bar area and a pizza oven that shared a chimney chute with the lounge chimney.
